FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

I create my artwork with graphite or ink drawings, watercolor or acrylic paintings, or mixed media (ink and watercolor)

Yes, I do. Use the contact section of my web page to send me a message, or schedule a time to meet me using Calendly: https://www.calendly.com/matt-harline

Each commission is different. When we reach an agreement on a commission, we will draw up an agreement which will include a time frame for completion. The time it takes depends on the size of the painting, the medium to be used, and the complexity of the subject matter. Portraits take even more time.  It is also complicated by the fact that I have a brain injury, and the time I can dedicate to painting is less than I like, but I take that into consideration when we draw up our agreement at the start of the commission process.

All artwork must be paid for prior to shipment to the customer.

For Commissions, I require an initial payment of 25% of the total price before starting work on the painting. This payment is not refundable.

You can pay in US Dollars with Cash, Check, Credit Card, Venmo, or PayPal

You can cancel your order any time prior to shipment. Payments already made will not be refunded.

Selected paintings and drawings are available as giclee prints. You can see the artwork prints that I have available on my web page here: https://huesoftheworld.com/prints/

For artwork shipped to the United States, I include the cost of shipping in my listed price. I use the US Postal Service, or UPS for my shipping.  Outside the United States, the customer will pay additional costs of shipping above the USA Domestic rates. Contact Matt Harline prior to ordering.

The short answer is No, all sales are final. Once a painting or Print is delivered, there are no returns or refunds unless it has been damaged in shipping. I insure my shipping, so if your product is damaged, please take photos of the damage and keep all receipts, packaging for the damaged work of art, and contact Matt Harline so we can make it right.

For original artwork, I include a certificate of title with the artwork to officially transfer ownership of the work of art to the collector.

For prints, I provide a certificate of authenticity to confirm that the collector has received an authentic print, authorized by the artist.
